Windows 11 Pro

Windows 11 is an operating system from Microsoft announced on June 24, 2021, as part of the Windows NT family of operating systems. Windows 11 was released to the general public on October 5, 2021, as a free upgrade through Windows Update for eligible devices running Windows 10.

Microsoft’s popular Windows 11 will have improved performance and ease of use over Windows 10; and there are major changes to Windows 10X’s Windows Shell, including a redesigned Start menu that replaces “live tiles” with separate tiles containing application icons. “Widget” is a feature inherited from the “News and Interest” feature that can be accessed from the taskbar, the ability to create groups of tiled windows that can be minimized and restored from the taskbar as a team, and new gaming technologies inherited from Xbox Series X and Series S, such as Auto HDR and DirectStorage on compatible hardware. Internet Explorer is completely replaced by Microsoft Edge, while Microsoft Teams is integrated into the Windows shell. Microsoft has also announced plans to provide support for Android apps to run on Windows 11, with support for the Amazon Appstore as well as manual installation via an APK file.
